Casana to Deliver Wellness-Led PBSA with Fusion Group in Birmingham

Casana Interiors is partnering with Fusion Group on our second PBSA scheme, this time in Birmingham, supporting a city with five universities and a fast-growing student population.

Designed to go further than the 620 beds, Fusion Birmingham will feature a wellness zone, two-storey gym, basketball court and landscaped gardens; amenities crafted to help students thrive academically and socially.

The project aligns with Birmingham City Council’s strategic direction to expand quality student accommodation and strengthen the university ecosystem. The Birmingham Development Plan (Policy TP33) supports purpose-built student accommodation in appropriate locations, while the Our Future City Plan emphasises backing university growth as part of a vibrant, well-connected city centre. Recent council assessments of PBSA supply and demand further underline the need for high-quality, well-managed student homes.

Fusion Birmingham will open its doors in 2026.
